in 2018 DPV Health and Whittlesea Community Connections partnered to deliver a 7 week youth advocacy program combining film and media training (my role) with violence prevention education.

Participants utilised their newly found filming skills and knowledge of gender based violence to produce this video, hoping that it will be used as a tool to engage others in conversations about the importance of gender equality and the actions that can be taken to prevent violence against women.

All the participants interviewed each other, learned to work in small crews to shoot and do sound for sit down and observational environments, and performed thematic motifs as b-roll. It was made all in one room. I edited the final product.
